"You have always been enough". Words that every woman should hear and believe!
As I reflect back on my greatest moments of self doubt I have come to realize that I was letting circumstances that I had no control over affect my emotional well being.
We do not have control over others actions, or obstacles sent our way or even sometimes our own health, but we do have a choice on how we respond to them.
Every day you should aim to show yourself kindness. Most of us fail to do this, however. Instead, we beat ourselves up for every mistake, perceived flaw, or for no reason at all. This has to stop. You deserve your kindness more than anyone else.
Sometimes the above is easier said than done, but we get the chance to practice it on the daily in this thing called life. If ever you find yourself doubting yourself try the below steps to self belief and self love.
Change your perspective. At the core of self-belief is realizing that you – and only you – are the driver of your own success.
Conquer your limiting beliefs. Next time you catch a negative inner monologue,change your self-talk by replacing those comments with positive thoughts.Always know you are worth it, you are strong and you are beyond enough.
Practice self love. Self-love is the basis of self-belief. If you don’t love yourself, how can you ever learn to have faith in yourself?
Create Healthy Routines. To get in touch with your personal power, you need to adopt new routines. Consider building a meditation practice into your routine
Change your focus. Instead of focusing on failures or weaknesses, remember moments in your past in which you were successful at a similar task or in which your strengths shone through.
Develop a growth mindset. If you’re struggling to develop self-belief, it’s likely you’re focused on mistakes you’ve made in the past. A growth mindset is essential to believing in yourself. When you know that you can learn from your mistakes, you’re much more willing to make them.
Draw on your inner strength. Why is it important to believe in yourself? Self-belief is about finding your inner strength so that you can embrace the journey that is life, with all its ups and downs, and realize that each challenge brings new skills, understanding and strength.
Believe in yourself, your abilities, and your own potential. Never let self-doubt hold you captive. You are worthy of all that you dream and hope for
