It’s an easy mistake to make. You think that if you put the hours of workouts in you can eat whatever you want: After all, working out is healthy, right?
⭐️ Reason 1: Weight loss is about calories in versus calories out. If your goal is to lose weight, you should be counting and logging the calories you are consuming and the calories you are burning on a daily basis- aiming for a calorie deficit. One hour on the treadmill is equivalent to one slice of pizza, not to mention refuelling your body with refined carbs will have you hungry again in no time
⭐️Reason 2: You can’t fuel your body with junk and expect it to perform. Processed carbs, sugar and soda only give you a sugar high. They do not give you what you need to perform in your workout or in life.
⭐️Reason 3: You won’t have the motivation to workout if you aren’t eating well. Diet and exercise are a feedback loop. When you eat right you are more motivated to move, and when you move you are more motivated to eat right.
To sum it up develop a healthy relationship with both food and exercise.
